Fiberglass Coatings Inc. Adopts VAI’S S2K Suite to Anticipate Customer Needs and Enhance Productivity

Composites distributor upgrades warehouse, distribution, and store front processes with S2K to usher in real-time reporting and analytics

Ronkonkoma, N.Y. - August 28, 2017 - VAI, a leading ERP software developer, today announced that Fiberglass Coating Inc. (FGCI), the largest independently owned composites distributor in Florida, has implemented VAI’s S2K Enterprise Software after replacing a legacy system to streamline key business processes and increase efficiencies.

FGCI provides composite materials to customers ranging from individual hobbyists to major manufacturers across a variety of industries including marine, amusement and construction. As the largest composites distributor in Florida, FGCI’s business continues to grow with multiple stores, warehouses and locations in the United States.

“Our old system wasn’t able to give us the insight and visibility needed to make real-time decisions and meet the demands across accounting, manufacturing and inventory,” said Mikel Patterson, IT Manager at Fiberglass Coatings Inc. “VAI S2K Enterprise is customized to our specific needs, allowing us to streamline business processes, adapt to market changes, and resolve issues instantly to ensure we are always exceeding our customer’s expectations.”

FGCI went Live with VAI S2K solution in April 2017, and the company expects to complete its full implementation of S2K Enterprise by December 2017. The company will also be implementing VAI’s Customer Relationship Management, (CRM), Smart Center, and Analytics applications, in addition to S2K mobile capabilities, which will enable FGCI to update order entries, access sales analytics and real-time updates with the ERP remotely.

“Everything we need to run our business is easy to see and operate, and we can access our solution anytime, anywhere, on any device,” Mikel continued. “I can say that our migration to VAI’s S2K solution was smooth and over one weekend we turned off one system and were live with S2K, giving us a level of visibility we never had before.”

“As a company, FGCI is focused on innovation, growth and delivering personalized experiences for its customers,” said Bob Vormittag Jr., Project Director at VAI. “VAI’s S2K Enterprise is an ideal fit for those goals, delivering a flexible, scalable solution with a global reach that can serve as the foundation to build upon its success.”
